About the Team

Workday Education's primary purpose is to create a great student and instructor experience by delivering engaging and innovative learning solutions to help customers, partners, employees, and executives make the most of Workday's unified solution. Our Content team is a critical first point of consultation and execution, rapidly understanding and evolving curriculum and learning offerings that take advantage of current learning and technology trends. About your role:

You are entering on the ground floor to drive the creation of a new offering aimed at helping executives get the most value from their investment in Workday. How you lead and inspire, your imagination and vision, what you do individually and get others to do as a team - these will be the difference-makers in delivering a great offering to a demanding audience with high expectations. In short, you thrive on content development challenges that break new ground and are responsible for delivering this offering!

You are an accomplished instructional designer and/or business writer with a proven track record of:

  • Working collaboratively, creatively, resourcefully, and diligently with anyone who may be instrumental in the success of you and your offering
  • Developing content that is appreciated and used by executive-level business audiences
  • Organizing, distilling and connecting complex ideas so they become more valuable and consumable
  • Writing communications and/or scripts that are remarkably crisp and instructionally sound
  • Driving and welcoming feedback and critique as imperatives to your creative process and quest to deliver the very best work product
  • Being able to surface, clarify and champion the best ideas - yours or others
  • Knowing when perfection is required and good is enough
  • Beating deadlines with quality while keeping your sense of humor and perspective
  • Caring, learning, and improving

You have the following knowledge and experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or business writing
  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing mixed media (e.g. written, video) briefing or learning materials for an executive audience
  • Demonstrated proficiency effectively and successfully communicating and collaborating with an executive audience
  • Demonstrated proficiency using project plans, design documents, storyboards, and prototypes to rapidly assess and progress concepts through to final offering
  • Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning solutions and the general business processes they support across financials and human capital management (business consulting experience a plus)
  • Working knowledge of executive-level business priorities (industry-specific knowledge a plus)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant working experience required
