Great Hill Solutionsis seeking a full-time Data Literacy SME in the DC Metropolitan area to support the Coordinator for Afghan Relocations Efforts (CARE) within the Department of State. The Data Operations Team is looking for a data-driven, strong communicator, to lead the culture shift to data-driven operations within to include leveraging existing tools, adaptive training, and data analysis across CARE

Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Empower workstreams to adopt a data-driven culture and data literacy across CARE
  • Develop and maintain a curriculum for implementing data literacy
  • Define, monitor, and track data literacy and tool adoption KPIs to measure improvement over time
  • Serve as the SME for adoption of CARE data initiatives and trainings for tool adoption at all levels
  • Create data literacy frameworks, materials, and resources to enhance understanding and utilization of data


Basic Qualifications:



  • Extensive experience in developing and delivering training to a wide audience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in training diverse audiences on data utilization
  • Survey design / Curriculum design
  • Material creation including but not limited to PowerPoints, Google Forms, Visios or other resources to support data literacy
  • Advise DOT leadership and senior leadership on strategic communication to support learning pathways and data culture adoption
  • US citizenship with an Active Secret Security Clearance or Higher


Preferred skills:



  • Training Program Design / Curriculum design
  • Tableau, PowerBI, Data Analysis Skills
  • ServiceNow experience
  • Comprehensive understanding of out of the box ServiceNow functionality
  • Agile Methodology familiarity
  • Knowledge of U.S. Refugee Admissions Program, Resettlement, Consular Processing
  • Knowledge of Department of State's bureaus, programs, and role in the US Government
  • Consular / Resettlement Agency / USCIS / or other relevant experience
  • Experience handling highly confidential information is highly preferred
  • Experience and certification in ServiceNow application development preferred
