Job Description

Role Overview:

Join our innovative team as an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) in our cutting-edge Symptom Care Clinic! You'll deliver comprehensive care, including performing invasive procedures, to oncology patients with acute or urgent symptoms As the lead of the medical emergency response team, you'll collaborate with a top-tier healthcare team and support patients in infusion, radiology, and radiation oncology during evenings and weekends. Be part of a pioneering extension of our hospital's urgent care center, and contribute to vital research that sets new standards in evidence-based care. Make a profound impact on patients' lives while advancing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment!

Key Qualifications:

    Graduate from an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active NY & NJ licenses or willing/eligible to obtain both for covering Westchester & Bergen SCC
  • A minimum of 2 years of related APP experience in Emergency, Critical Care or Intensive Care
  • BLS / ACLS certified
OR
  • Active NY & NJ Advanced Practice Nursing licenses/registrations or willing/eligible to obtain both for covering Westchester & Bergen SCC
  • Nurse Practitioner MS Degree, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • 2+ years of related APP experience in Emergency, Critical Care, or Intensive Care
  • BLS / ACLS certified

Additional Information:

Location: Westchester (Primary) and Bergen float

Hours: 13 hr shifts (8a-9:30p) 12 shifts a month *Weekend and holiday rotation coverage required*

This role is open to new grads with RN experience in ICU and Inpatient and experienced APPs

Pay Range: 144k-182K
