Position Responsibilities


  • Work with development, quality assurance and design teams to deliver software products and product updates of outstanding quality.
  • Modify software to implement new functionality, fix errors, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces.
  • Work with customers or internal teams on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
  • Analyze information to recommend and plan the installation of new functionality or modifications to an existing system.
  • Design and developing software systems using analysis to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences.
  • Contribute towards initiatives that improve the consistency and quality of our product.
  • Work with the project team to maximize quality of deliveries.

Qualifications


  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or any related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience as a professional Software Developer using Java, J2EE, EJB, BEA WebLogic, HTML, JavaScript, Java Servlets and XML.
  • Work under minimal supervision and should be capable of acting as team lead on assigned projects.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) and SQL.
  • Strong knowledge in PL/SQL or Transact-SQL and good understanding of data modeling and Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD).
  • Quick to learn new products and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle; experience in Agile methodology an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in ERP system, Web Services, Automated Testing Tools and BIRT or Actuate reporting tool is a plus.
  • Strong customer and business focus.
  • Experience in Integrated Development Environment (IDE) preferably Eclipse or similar tool is a plus.
  • Education or experience in Project Accounting, Financial Accounting, or Payroll is a plus.

Compensation Information

The U.S. salary range for this position is $81500.00 - $122250.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
