Job Description


* Assembles electronic and electromechanical products such as electric motors, computers, electronic control devices, and linear motors
* Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports
* Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering, and powered screw drivers
* Pack finished products for shipment and label components.
* Correct defects.
* Test product to ensure conformance to specifications.
* Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to blueprint specifications, using instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
* Populate or modify/replace components on printed circuit board assemblies.
* Test functional performance.
* Handle all phases of structural aluminum product assembly.
* Operate cold saw, panel saw, drill press and tapping machine.
* Operate CRT to access mainframe computer to check on customer order status, inventory, etc.
* Understand and keep organized all paperwork dealing with customer orders
* Construct containers suitable for shipping the products.
* Standard work and ad hoc responsibilities as defined by organizational priorities and standards.
* Workflow determined by internal and external customer requirements.
* Self-motivated and the ability to re-prioritize tasks to meet organizational needs
* Able to wear multiple hats in a lean environment

Starting wage-$19-$20 an hour plus 10% shift differential for 2nd shift.

*Prior manufacturing experience is required
*Strong inter-personal and communication skills.
*Ability to quickly master new business knowledge and technical skills in a rapidly changing business environment
*Strong team player and able to collaborate with people across different functions
*Strong outlook towards safety and quality
*Ability to stay organized and keep work area clean
*Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at once.
