Department of Justice (DOJ), Justice Management Division (JMD), Security and Emergency Planning Staff (SEPS), Personnel Security Group (PERSG) requires security processing support services, to include, but not limited to technical programs, intake, and adjudications. information, IT systems, facilities and/or national security information.

Great Hill Solutions, LLC is seeking a Security Clerk I in Washington, D.C. The objective of this work is to provide support for the TechnicalPrograms Section. The contractor will assist with data discrepancy updates andsending/receiving files to the central repositories. The Security Clerk I will assist withidentifying errors, reconciling data, and escalating recurring issues.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Identify and assist with data discrepancy updates in the Justice Security Tracking Adjudication Record System (JSTARS);
  • Conduct checks to reconcile information between JSTARS and other systems/databases, making or requesting corrections, as required.
  • Run reports in support of personnel security operations using automated databases or programs. Draft memorandum or e-mail correspondence related to personnel security matters, to include data clean-up requests.
  • Assist with submitting daily extract files (e.g., 79a, CVS, INV-ISP) to OPM's PIPS/CVS system (or successor database) and correcting discrepancies identified on returned error report.
  • Assist with applying NFC updates to JSTARS.
  • Reviewing monthly organizational reports for data integrity, assisting with data reconciliation, as required.
  • Properly safeguarding sensitive information to include, but not limited to, Privacy Act Protected Information, Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and Classified National Security Information.


Basic Qualifications:



  • High School graduate.
  • Two years of administrative/clerk experience.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.


Desired Skills:



  • Previous JSTARS or OPM's PIPS/CVS systems experience.
