As a Lead Mutuel Clerk, affectionately known as a Super Writer, you'll spearhead our mission to provide unparalleled service to sports enthusiasts, expertly assisting them in placing wagers on an exciting range of global sporting events. THE STARTING PAY RATE: $18.00/HR + Direct Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Oversee all ticket transactions, cash exchanges, voided bets, and wagered funds throughout your shift, maintaining meticulous attention to detail to uphold accuracy and integrity in all betting activities
• Partner with the supervisor to ensure accurate verification of cash drawers, meticulous completion of reports, thorough rating of casino customer activity, and vigilant monitoring of the race and sports book for any signs of suspicious activity, contributing to a secure and seamless gaming experience for our valued patrons
• Manage and balance a cash bank with precision, facilitating seamless transactions by accurately accepting payments and providing correct change as needed, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience for our valued guests
• Execute timely and accurate payments on winning tickets, meticulously verifying tickets and payoffs to ensure a seamless and rewarding experience for our guests
• Execute writing and cashiering duties in strict adherence to department policies and procedures, while also safeguarding customer rewards and maintaining compliance with credit lines to ensure a secure and rewarding gaming experience for all patrons
• Ensure the accuracy of LED boards and guest informational sheets, meticulously verifying all details to provide guests with up-to-date and accurate information, enhancing their overall experience with our services

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Experienced in handling cash transactions accurately and providing excellent customer service
• Passionate about sports and enthusiastic about staying updated with current sports events and trends

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Ability to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays
• At least 1 year of experience in Race and Sportsbook operations
• The ability to obtain a Nevada Gaming License
