Business Customer Support

Our Business Customer Support associates are the voice of Metronet for our business customers. This is an in-bound call center position where you will be answering questions related to billing issues and/or general questions regarding our business services. This is a position that is customer service focused where it is necessarily to retain information and follow up with customers when needed. A successful candidate would have that customer service mindset as well as have strong verbal communication skills, time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced, high volume call center environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Answers business customer/client requests or inquiries concerning services and products and reports problem areas.
  • Utilizes various systems and tools to assist and service customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of all company products, services, and promotions.
  • Make system recommendations based on customers equipment specifications in accordance with customer's needs.
  • Determine customer billing issues and provide solutions based on customer.
  • All other duties as assigned.



JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:



  • Highschool Diploma or GED required and/or associate degree preferred.
  • At least 1+ year of related experience or within high volume call center environment
  • Must be detail oriented and strong ability to follow procedures.
  • Solid problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Proven ability to deescalate or persuade customers using exemplary Customer Service, Initiative and Problem-Solving competencies.
