SUMMARY:

The Senior Logistics Analyst's primary objectives are to support the overall Logistics function by providing thorough and timely data analysis, managing logistics excellence projects, acting as the subject matter expert for all Logistics software and systems of use. Additionally, the Senior Logistics Analyst will be responsible for managing and investigating claims and managing vendor business relations.

LOCATION: Riceboro, GA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Timely completion & distribution of standard weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for Logistics and other process stakeholders such as VPs and CEOs.
  • Defines and designs tools to support business needs, product pricing and costing, special projects, and other key business initiatives.
  • The ability to conduct and present cost/benefit analysis.
  • Provides analytic support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and data interpretation.
  • Identifies areas for improvement. Supports and tracks improvement initiatives.
  • Manages Domestic and International Key Performance indicators for all vendors.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to define and implement data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure data is accurate, complete, and reliable.
  • Leads and acts as point of contact for Logistics Excellence projects.
  • Manages and investigates internal and external complaints and claims related to vendors and/or carriers.
  • Supports the implementation and onboarding of Logistics Technology systems, including the freight payment system, rail software, and yard management.
  • Provides training support on newly implemented systems and shares best practices.
  • Assists Logistics Director and Managers with policy, procedure, and controls development.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field, Supply Chain or Logistics.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data logistics analysis is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products with strong Excel skills.
  • Microsoft Power BI skills are required.
  • Microsoft D365 and 3PL, 4 PL TMS systems experience preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
