Lawrence Berkeley National Lab's (LBNL) Accelerator Technology & Applied Physics (ATAP) Division has an opening for a Research Assistant to join the Fusion Science & Ion Beam Technology's (FSIBT) group. In this exciting role, you will assist in the preparation and analysis of samples for several scheduled beamtimes at laser-ion-acceleration facilities. The samples will be prepared and analyzed at LBNL using equipment in a cleanroom and measured using resistance measurement at low temperature as well as other tools such as photoluminescence. This effort will contribute to critical milestones of a funded project. The Fusion Sciences & Ion Beam Technology group has an ongoing effort in qubit fabrication and characterization and has been awarded beam time at several international high power laser facilities over the last years.
