The Lead Principal Radiologic Technologist (LPRT), supervised by the General Diagnostic Manager and Medical Director, operates radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images following prescribed protocols and procedures. As the LPRT you will demonstrate proficiency in conducting procedures on patients across all age groups, ensuring timely completion of studies with adherence to quality standards. Moreover, it is expected that you educate patients, assist in sterile technique procedures and uphold patient confidentiality throughout the examination process. Additionally, proficiency in enhanced fluoroscopic duties in areas such as GI and GU arenas, Angiography, or Pediatric Diagnostics is an integral aspect of this position.
Salary: $55.94 - $73.81
Qualifications * At least 5 years experience in a Diagnostic Radiology environment
* ARRT certification - required
* CRT license - required
* Fluoroscopic permit - required
* BCLS certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross- required
* JCERT approved Radiologic Technologist Program graduate
* Ability to adapt to advancement and changing technology
* Ability to identify and recognize contraindications for exams. (Radiology Only)
* Ability to show attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness.
* Excellent interpersonal skills effectively and diplomatically with patients, visitors, hospital staff, physicians, and other outside offices both in person and over the phone.
* Knowledge of medical terminology, with ability to distinguish between- types of procedures within the assigned department(s) and medical diagnoses.
* Skill in employing independent decision making while performing various job functions.
