SUMMARY

This position will be responsible for execution across a wide range of projects and digital platforms. This position will collaborate with development teams, product owners and projects in an agile environment.

.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Delivers timely Web enhancements that improve performance and conversion rates.

  • Responsible for the design and development of web pages, graphics, multimedia, GUIs.

  • Responsible for the product experience platform to capture product usage data and behavior, gather feedback, and influence behavior with in-app messaging.

  • Creates custom coding solutions for Covetrus' sites using HTML, CSS and JavaScript

  • Review changes from WordPress developers to ensure their changes meet Covetrus web standards and needs

  • Review changes from SAP developer to ensure their changes meet Covetrus web standards and needs

  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues

  • Participate in code reviews and testing of software applicationsas needed by GTS

  • Fix and document any bugs that occur across any of Covetrus's B2B sites

  • Assist in requirements creation by working with the product managers, BSAs and other developers

  • Solve real customer problems and experiment with new ideas; work with and influence others to improve overall site architecture

  • Improve the architecture and quality of the code

  • Write hand-coded, cross-browser compatible, standards-based HTML and CSS.

  • Ensure websites display and function correctly across multiple browsers and operating systems

  • Works closely with in-house designers and customers to develop, implement, and maintain company websites and landing pages.

  • Responsible for designing and maintaining sites using HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming tools to follow customer branding standards.

  • Builds enhancements to websites based upon customer needs, fixes and repairs display or functionality issues, and ensures websites are accessible from a variety of different browser environments.

  • Works with third-party providers to include additional approved features to websites to enhance user experience.

  • Performs end user testing to ensure the user experience is consistent in all supported web browsers.

  • Plays a key role in ensuring that all sites are coded accurately and deployed on time.

  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects, and work well in a team environment is a requirement.

  • Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years supporting B2B websites

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a Computer Science-related discipline required, Master's preferred

  • Possess creative, technical, and problem-solving skills

  • Have a solid understanding of graphic design and expertise in best practices for mobile and web design, as well as experience designing interfaces for multiple platforms

  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript, web typography and responsive design

  • Proficient with coding language/framework - ex: Angular or Java

  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite

  • Proficient with Pendo or similar user insights software

  • Familiar with React with TypeScript

  • Extremely comfortable working in an Agile development process

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, including verbal, written, listening and customer relationship building

Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location.

However, the pay range for this position is as follows.

$67,100.00 - $124,500.00
