In this role, you will plan and execute a wide range of conference events, guided by our North America Events Plan. Events will range from organizing our presence at large corporate trade shows and academic conferences. You will be responsible for managing the event budget. You will also measure event metrics to help us see the impact of our events and ensure we are delivering to target. To be successful in this position, you must be a strong team player, have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and be able to manage multiple projects under tight time schedules.

This is a three-month contract position and will be a hybrid position working out of the Billerica, Ma office.



Responsibilities

    Support the coordination of personnel, commercial vendors, and contractors to implement special events and programs.
  • Plan, oversee, execute, and facilitate all logistical aspects of special events.
  • Support events from idea through execution, helping to ensure all timelines are met.
  • Serve as a focal point for the coordination and execution of information booths at conferences and events.
  • Support the development of all required documentation for organizational participation in local, state, federal/national, and international conferences.
  • Provide support across the company in the development and design of event materials such as programs, invitations, and briefing materials.
  • Develops strategic plans to broadcast events and target appropriate audiences.
  • Support the coordination of logistical details of events, such as venue selection, event registration, audiovisual technical assistance, including onsite execution and post-event analysis.
  • Support lead management process for events, ensuring leads are inserted in the system (SalesForce) on time.
  • Assist with administering sales enablement tools and material like marketing literature, roll-ups and giveaways


Qualifications

  • Equivalent experience: 1-2 years of experience as an event manager/planner
  • Knowledge and understanding working in databases.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite programs
  • Possess a strong skillset in event planning.
  • Be exceptionally organized with meticulous note-taking and follow-up skills
  • Capable of handling high-level engagements.
  • Able to perform well in a quick-paced, time-demanding, and sensitive environment.
