POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Sales Talent Development & Key Account Manager, the Inside Sales Specialist (ISS) is in a role to assume inside sales responsibilities within the Sales Department. The ISS will complete a comprehensive training program encompassing familiarity with key functions of the company to include Flaking, Drumming, Warehouse, Bulk, Bottling, Laboratory, Supply Chain, Logistics, Import and Export and Product Surveys. The ISS must understand the specifics of products they represent as well as the business needs of the customer. The ISS must possess a comprehensive understanding of PCNA's systems and will produce and analyze reports as needed. Additionally, the ISS collaborates with various departments such as Sales, Lab Services, Operations, Logistics, and Accounting.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education, Credentials, Licenses:



  • Bachelor's degree in a Business-related field or a combination of education and experience.


Kind & Length of Experience:



  • 2-3 years of experience working in the chemical industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in a high transactional volume customer focused role with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business/science-related discipline.
  • Excellent organizational skills and able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible and able to change direction as needed or requested.
  • Ability to operate in multiple different capacities and environments.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Highly effective time management.
  • Competency with Microsoft Office products (CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.



PERFORMANCE MEASURES AND STANDARDS



  • Maintaining Inside Sales Territory Accounts.
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales activity goals.
  • Record, and manage leads passed from various internal and external sources.
  • Understand specific customer requirements.
  • Communicate effectively both externally and internally.
  • Sample Follow Up Report and Jacobsen Report distribution.
  • Maintain records (quotes, sales, call reports, etc.) in CRM for inside sales territory accounts.
  • Analyze or produce monthly and quarterly sales reports for business leaders and others.
  • Domestic Travel - Less than 20% including 4 trips to Cincinnati for quarterly sales meetings.

Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
