Overview

Responsible for high volume recruiting and the strategic sourcing of talent that are aligned with the organization's business needs as it relates to staffing trends and best practices. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that the organization is recruiting, attracting and retaining the best possible talent.

This is a hybrid role, with some standard days required in the Orlando office, as well as occasional in state travel for required matters.



Responsibilities

    Executes the Talent Acquisition plan in meeting the objectives of the organizational strategies and business needs through Full Cycle Recruitment
  • Conducts research and recommends new sources for attracting active and passive candidate pool
  • Develops and maintains internal and external relationships in the community to include schools, colleges, universities, industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees
  • Plans, coordinates and attends career fairs, recruitment drives, and special events as it relates to the sourcing for talent and meeting the business needs
  • Utilizes internet recruitment tools to include social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates for building the talent pipeline
  • Sources and identifies potential talent and makes recommendations in the selection of employees for vacant positions to the hiring managers
  • Maintains relevant sourcing data in the software talent acquisition system
  • Assists with the development of new ideas to implement creative improvements to the Talent Acquisition strategies.


Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university and one (1) to three (3) years related experience or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:

None

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of hiring laws (National/State) and Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) compliance regulations
  • Skilled at public speaking
  • Ability to market organizational employment opportunities to various groups and cultures
  • Ability to consistently document marketing activities for AAP compliance and Return On Investment tracking
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to delegate, manage and supervise effectively
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
  • Knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Talent Acquisition Systems)
  • Skill in operating office equipment
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time within state.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 20 pounds).

Functions are regularly performed inside without potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as inclement weather, atmospheric elements and pathogenic substances. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
