Under the direction of the department manager, the role of the Patient Support Services Supervisor position is to provide supervision of the East 6 Hospital Unit Service Coordinator III's (HUSC) and the Volunteer staff as well as the unit's time keeping, scheduling for HUSC and Nursing staff, meeting minutes, ordering supplies, stocking, scanning, environmental of care, general administrative support and duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager. Department Description E6 Cardiothoracic Progressive Care Unit includes 24 beds with patient population consisting but not limited to; medical surgical, emergent, perioperative, Ventricular Assist Devices, Thoracic and Cardiac Surgeries, Stroke, Trached/Ventilated, and Medical patients, however not limited to other service lines.
