DevOps Engineer - Tooling Integration Services

Introduction to the job

The DevOps Engineer for this position will play a key role in supporting our existing infrastructure, and help us bring that infrastructure into the cloud. You'll be working to automate, build tools and pipelines, and create infrastructures in order to support application development. The mission is to get the Wilton software development infrastructure up to DevOps maturity level 5.

You will also participate in continuous improvement of process & automation, aimed at ensuring the processes and tools used throughout the Development and Quality groups within the Software Department. You will be charged wit increasing a software developer or test engineer's ability to verify the quality of ASML software in the most efficient manner.

Education

Undergraduate degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Master's degree is a plus.

Qualification

  • Minimum of 2 years software verification and validation and/or test automation experience

  • Minimum of 3 years Python and/or C/C++ development experience

  • Solid scripting skills - Bash preferred.

  • Strong UNIX skills - preferable Linux

  • Deep understanding in software test methodology. Ability to design highly effective test strategies and decompose functional requirements into test cases

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and creative approach to problem solving

  • Experience working on Linux and/or Unix platforms.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, customer focused and multidisciplinary environment.

  • Experience in CI/CD automation pipelines - Github actions is a plus

  • Experience in static code analysis tool such as Valgrind, CodeSonar, Sonarqube, is a plus.

  • Prior experience in working in an Agile team is a nice-to-have.

  • Prior experience in software architecture design and EPS/EDS processes using Polarion is a nice-to-have (not required)

  • Solid communication skills in verbal and written English

  • Strong understanding of SCM branching strategies and the use of git/bitbucket/GitHub.

  • Experience with Release Engineering processes and software development cycles.

  • Experience in working in GCP cloud is a plus

  • Proficiency in cloud-based DevOps practices, specifically in Terraform, OpenShift

  • Expertise in containerization with Docker/Kubernetes and orchestration tools Ansible/ Puppet

Experience/Skills

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
