Position Summary

Responsible for the analysis of incoming used inventory for repair, delivering components to and from the various repair shops. Participate in Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assist in the development of effective strategies to improve overall performance of the components being handled.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Monitor and manage flow of materials for onshore operations supported by the Americas Region.
* Monitor and manage assigned items, commodities, activities in support of Materials Control Group.
* Knowledgeable in PSFT Inventory and Purchasing controls and attributes.
* Coordinate with Configuration Management for maintenance of Item Attributes as required.
* Develop product knowledge of assigned items and commodities. Assist with implementation of engineering changes to include disposal of obsolete / excess material. Initiate actions to minimize cost and schedule impact of changes.
* Monitor and manage usage reports to identify parts / commodities as candidates for obsolescence / reduction in stock quantities.
* Practice CI concepts for the purpose of improve processes. Propose possible solutions to problems identified.
* Communicate across business functions; Manufacturing, Inventory, Configuration Management, Technical, Production Control and supported internal customers.
* Analyze and facilitate the disposition of slow or obsolete inventory.
* Prepare regular reports detailing performance on KPIs as directed.
* All other duties assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

* High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
* One (1) to two (2) years' experience in a purchasing / warehouse environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

DESIRED

* Knowledge of one of the following ERP / MRP Systems, JDEdwards, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft preferred.
* Knowledge of purchasing and inventory activities.
* Knowledge of principles / processes for providing customer service.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications and strong foundation in Excel and databases.
* Knowledge of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV) components.

Additional Information

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is considered SHOP/INDOORS WORK which is characterized as follows.

* Primarily indoors during the day and occasionally at night.
* Frequently working on or near moving equipment and vibrating equipment.
* When outdoors, humidity is frequently above 90%
* Noise is over 85 decibels.
* Light is intense/glare.
* Occasional exposure to open fire/flames/sparks.
* Frequent exposure to airborne dust, fumes, and gases.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY/REQUIREMENTS

OCCASIONAL

* Lift 50-100 pounds.
* Work in confined spaces, kneel, jump, run, work while lying on his stomach/back, crawl, and use repetitive movements of the arms and hands.

* Wear PPE for skin protection.
* Eye protection.
* Steel/safety toed shoes/boots

FREQUENT

* Lift 25-50 pounds.
* Wear PPE for head, hands.
* Climb stairs/ladders, stand, balance, stoop, squat, reach, and lift/carry objects.
* Twist, sit with back supported, head forward/flexed, head tilted/rotated.
* Work with arms extended below the waist, unsupported, elbows flexed, wrist supported and unsupported.
* Operate a motor vehicle.

CONSTANT

* Lift 10-20 pounds.
* Standing and walking.
* Wear PPE for body, vision, and hearing protection.
