Job Description

Visa U.S.A. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Director (multiple openings) in New York, NY to

  • Lead Tink, an open banking platform that enables financial institutions, fintechs, and merchants to build financial products and services and move money, and Visa's Open Banking Connectivity product in the U.S by defining the strategic direction, working with financial institutions to establish data access and build out product portfolio, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure product quality and maintenance.
  • Set, design, and execute the overarching roadmap and go to market strategy for Connectivity in collaboration with VISA senior level executives.
  • Responsible for ensuring full alignment and efficient ways of working in the respective teams.
  • Ensure the quality and coverage of the US connectivity product, by ensuring that Visa establishes high quality connections to financial institutions.
  • Recruit and build the local connectivity product and engineering organization.
  • Drive improvements to local connectivity offering by working closely with VISA's platform and connectivity teams in Europe.
  • Lead and manage a growing organization consisting of Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and engineering teams to ensure scaling and set the long-term technological vision for the US Connectivity function.
  • Define and evaluate key results and performance metrics that measure the success of the Connectivity platform.
  • Position reports to the Employer's New York, New York office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer and information management or technology management related occupation.
  • Creating vision statements and setting product goals;
  • Defining product strategy;
  • Product design;
  • Customer discovery and the design of new products based on that discovery
  • Product execution; and
  • Defining and leading plans to achieve product goals.

Worksite: New York, NY

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements:This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements:This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $277,410.00 USD to $337,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
