MRI Technologist - Beach Imaging and Interventional Center

As the
MRI Technologist you will perform basic and complex MR imaging
procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an
in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology,
pharmacology and medical terminology. You will be required to maintain a high
degree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. You
will also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly
screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room.
You will:

• * Ensure accurate processing of
  radiology orders
• * Maintain accurate up-to-date records
  of procedures performed
• * Operate a variety of
  post-processing/3D workstations
• * Perform accurate image archival
• * Prepare and administer paramagnetic
  contrast media
• * Sensitively handle physical and
  emotional needs of the patient

Range: $49.73 - $65.56 Hourly

• * Graduate
  from a AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - required
• * AA
  or BS - preferred
• * Siemens experience - preferred
• * Ability to adapt to advancements and
  changing technologies
• * Ability to identify contraindications
  for exams
• * Excellent communication, interpersonal
  and independent decision-making skills
• * Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX
  codes)
• * Knowledge of human anatomy and
  patholog
