Our Chemprene LLC and AMMEGA Specialty team, we are currently looking for a/an Operator I. As an Operator I, you will be responsible for proficiency in one or two of the following machines: Rotocure, Presses, Laminator, Slitters, Wrapper, Unwrapper, and Warm Up Mill. You will report to the Production Supervisor and be part of the Production Team. This role is based in Beacon, New York. A day in the life of a Operator I can look like: Tests all safety devices/emergency stop buttons at the start of each shift Conducts safety audit of area at the start of each shift Completes Hoist Safety Checklist at the start of each shift Notifies Supervisor of any safety hazard found during shift Reviews production schedule and verifies expectations for the shift Reads process route sheet (PRS) to determine specifics of job scheduled Gathers appropriate material for job (poly, shells, etc) Operates machine according to Standard Operating Procedures We are looking for you to have (choose what is applicable) High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) High School Level Math Skills Ability to work in a team environment Excellent communication skills Prior forklift experience and current forklift certification Leadership acumen Positive team spirit Entrepreneurial and customer focus Learning agility Ability to deliver what is promised Drive for change and innovation Ability to build relationships through collaboration What we offer you The benefits of working at AMMEGA go beyond the daily work.
