Salary for Announcement

The Hourly Rate for this temporary position is $18.75 per hour.

This position is a Temporary position that is not benefits-eligible.

Duties/Responsibilities

As a contributing member of the Center for Visual Art's team, the candidate will provide general gallery assistance to uphold the CVA's creative mission and vision. Responsibilities include assistance with:

  • Art handling & installation
  • Gallery maintenance
  • Arts administration
  • Acting as gallery representative to patrons
  • Programming assistance - event set up and staffing
  • Opportunity to participate in student-run gallery space
  • Other duties as applicable

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 required
  • Reliable
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while meeting firm deadlines
  • Detail oriented
  • Candidates must be available some evenings and weekends

Important Note: Successful applicants will ensure their resumes clearly demonstrate that their work experience describes how they meet ALL required qualifications.

Work Hours

  • 40 hours per week
