Under general direction of the division administrator, the incumbent will work as a Hospital Medical Transcriber for a Resident Physician within the Department of Psychiatry. Main duties are to act as a medical scribe and take notes while the resident is interviewing patients and gathering clinical information from other sources (e.g. family members). Other duties include facilitating access to work areas (e.g. opening doors), assisting with office work and clerical activities (e.g. printing documents, making copies) as needed and consistently providing quality customer service. Assist with other duties as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $64,290 - $79,866 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $30.79 - $38.25 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
