Job Description

Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. Manager (multiple openings) in Austin, TX to

  • Design, develop, operationalize, and support cloud platforms to enable application teams on their journey to cloud-native modernization.
  • Engage with Cloud product and program management to identify requirements for platform, specifically for self-service workflows and CI/CD.
  • Oversee prototype, design, and alpha/beta test solutions with a fast feedback loop.
  • Oversee the setup of documentation and reporting around platform usage and support.
  • Oversee work with Cloud infrastructure and operations team to perform POCs on vendor products and define standards.
  • Collect, design, and build requirements from operations teams for platform support.
  • Manage end-to-end operations for self-service portal that allows developers to consume Cloud container CI/CD platform that adheres to platform and security standards defined by organization.
  • Identify and fill in implementation and support gaps.
  • Recruit, mentor and run an agile engineering team.
  • Directly lead engineering team in build out and management of an enterprise-grade private cloud.
  • Support infrastructure around infrastructure automation.
  • Build out and management of Application PaaS systems.
  • Build out and management of enterprise-grade container infrastructure.
  • Position reports to the Employer's Austin, Texas office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 7 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation

Additional Information

Worksite: Austin, TX

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $191,755.00 USD to $227,100.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position is eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program, FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time off and Wellness Programs.
