Intern, Strategic Communications

Explore a career in strategic communications with a trade association supporting businesses in their journey to use renewable and recycle resources to make essential products. This internship will provide meaningful work experience and a glimpse into how American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) supports an industry and promotes its sustainability initiatives. 

Assist our dynamic and fast-paced strategic communications team by:

• Drafting content for AF&PA’s website
• Assisting with the creation of graphics and videos
• Creating and organizing collateral and materials for Presidents Forum
• Organizing content for the Annual Report
• Catalog and recategorize AF&PA images
• Copy edit Sustainability Report
• Assisting with launch of Sustainability Report and Recycling Rate
• Organizing and developing media lists in Cision 

AF&PA's internships are intended to:

• Provide valuable work experience in areas of interest and study
• Allow individuals to learn about the essential and sustainable work of the forest products industry
• Provide exposure to the various disciplines within AF&PA, the public policy world and the industry
• Expose interns to professionals in their field of study and other disciplines
