POSITION OVERVIEW

The position is located at RMC in Spartanburg, SC. The role reports directly to the Senior Director of Supply Chain and will lead demand planning efforts to drive Supply Chain performance in forecasting activities using statistical modeling and intelligence from cross-functional partners.

  • Manage, develop, and implement overall forecasting strategy and plan.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling forecast and drive the forecasting process for the entire business to beat forecast accuracy goals.
  • Assist with preparation & facilitation of executive level S&OP meetings, business issue resolution and follow-up.
  • Advise Sales & Marketing of plan variances within existing forecasts, plans, and actuals.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to coordinate new product introduction in supply chain.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to coordinate CRM Opportunities and Risk versus plan.
  • Create, monitor, and maintain S&OP/Demand Planning metrics.
  • Analyze product demand and supply and supply chain processes and procedures using internal data collection and analytical tools to support S&OP demand activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales & marketing, manufacturing & operations, finance, and customer service to meet supply chain objectives and commitments.
  • Provide business requirements and training for applicable S&OP/Demand Planning processes and systems (e.g., JDE)
  • Participate in the financial budgeting process.
  • Facilitate communication of demand plan between finance and supply planning.

TECHNICAL - PREFERRED

  • 2+ years working in a corporate environment and facilitate meetings with multiple levels of management.
  • 1+ years of application experience with inferential statistics software (e.g., JDA, SAP IBP, Forecast PRO).
  • Prior experience with S&OP process.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a proven record of collaboration with a sales organization during demand planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple demands while adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with any level of the organization including internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-starter who is resourceful and can work independently.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

  • Education: 4 Year Degree
  • Ability to draw information from data and propose alternative courses of action to broader team.
  • Broad/Deep Knowledge of Multiple Business Processes / Systems
  • SAP / IBP System Knowledge
  • Results focused - take ownership and accountability for producing tangible results.
  • Self-Starter - motivated to set and achieve goals and takes initiative to complete tasks without direct instruction to do so.
  • Professional - demonstrate integrity and respect for others.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Multi-tasking - ability to manage multiple responsibilities at same time.
