We are part of the Employee Experience Team, which plays a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture where every employee feels seen and heard. Our team, specifically, is dedicated to enhancing the overall employee experience by focusing on internal communication and DEI, which includes support for Hallmark's ERGs. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing effective internal communication strategies to keep employees informed, connected, and aligned with the organization's goals and values. This includes managing communication channels, crafting strategic communication, and ensuring timely dissemination of news and information that supports our internal audiences.

WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

The Communication Specialist works in the space where digital communication and employee experience meet. In this role, you will serve as the primary facilitator and point of contact for Hallmark's internal digital communication tools and channels, chiefly the Hallmark intranet, email, digital signage platforms, and other tools and channels that help inform, engage, and enable our workforce. You will partner with stakeholders across the business, in a very hands-on manner, to craft and distribute communication through Hallmark's employee-facing digital communication channels and will work with team members to help improve adoption of tech-enabled tools and capabilities that enhance the employee experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of professional experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in an internal or digital communications role
  • Experience operating and building content for digital communications tools and platforms including Microsoft 365 (SharePoint sites, Teams, Outlook, Clarity), intranet sites, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar platform), and Google Analytics (or similar platform)



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Proven ability to build effective communication and relationships with a wide range of internal audiences
  • A keen awareness of both what you deliver and how you deliver it, with Hallmark's cultural commitments in mind
  • A high degree of agility with an ability and openness to partnering across the business
  • An ability to work through ambiguity, cross-functionally with partners and team members
  • A growth mindset with the desire and ability to be an active, self-starting, and collaborative member of the team
  • A dot connector with the capacity to align multiple initiatives and manage competing priorities
  • A caring and inclusive approach supportive of Hallmark's DEI vision and strategy
