Summary
The MIL Corporation is seeking a Program Analysis, Associate to work with a Federal Client in Washington, DC.

This position currently requires a hybrid schedule with 2 days on-site. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Responsibilities



  • Monitors current programs and identifies gaps
  • Develops and publishes funding opportunities to solicit proposals from non-governmental organizations (NGOs), organizes and participates on proposal review panels, crafts funding recommendation memos for Assistant Secretary, and ensures timely processing of approved funding actions including contributions to international organizations and cooperative agreements to NGOs
  • Helps Program Officers monitor project implementation via review of quarterly reports.
  • Tracks office funding to international organizations and NGOs
  • Prepares briefing materials by helping to collect and synthesize information and implementing partners' protection and assistance programs
  • Supports the PRM/A program officers in their operational and planning activities related to the network of resettlement programs in the United States that serve refugee, Special Immigrant Visa recipient, and Afghan humanitarian parolee arrivals
  • Serves as Deputy to the Community Capacity & Integration Lead in the Interagency Resettlement Branch, overseeing, coordinating, and tracking lines of effort related to new capacity; placement; and integration and engagement in order to reach and implement historic resettlement goals.
  • Manages critical lines of efforts, including the Afghan Placement and Assistance (APA) Program communications, housing, employment, and reporting portfolios while simultaneously balancing other portfolios related to the Reception and Placement (R&P) Program, including data analysis/visualizations, Tableau reporting, and other special projects
  • Interfaces and liaises with interagency, nongovernmental, and state and local stakeholders to ensure the successful resettlement of refugees, SIVs, and Afghan humanitarian parolees
  • Leads significant special projects as determined by the team, which can include drafting PPRCs, preparing analysis of resettlement capacities and funding, developing M&E resources, and other cultural orientation related tasks


Travel

Required Qualifications



  • 7 years relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in management of Federal program
  • Demonstrated experience scheduling meetings, arranging conferences, and able to work within demanding rotational assignments
  • Expert knowledge of computer software such as Adobe, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Publisher)
  • Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • High caliber written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in time and resource management
  • Ability to analyze program data for use in evaluating proposals, negotiating award conditions, and monitoring recipient performance as well as preparing briefing materials
  • Knowledge of basic office management procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is 115,000-125,000 per year.
