THE ROLE: Cyber Sales VP

Job Summary:

The VP of Cyber sales will have responsibility for all sales activities for the practice and leadership over the SPL team. This role will develop a successful team by focusing on targeted recruitment and effective training and skill development; provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. The VP will be responsible for executive relationships with our elite 8 Cyber OEM's to influence and drive a strategy that provides capabilities that align to Presidio's customer cybersecurity needs.

Travel Requirements:

In this role you will be expected to travel 25-50%. It will be based in any location in the United States.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Execution



  • Responsible for setting the sale GTM strategy for Presidio's Cybersecurity practice including but not limited to partner selection, service offerings, and customer use cases
  • Sales strategy by identifying customer needs and selling the appropriate OEM technologies and Presidio cyber service offerings
  • Drives joint customer engagement with SPL/AM teams in collaboration with top OEM account managers.
  • Ensures strategic account plans are developed and completed for top cyber accounts in region
  • Aligns SPL team to sales territories and oversees all activities within the team to ensure satisfactory demand generation and opportunity support is being consistently maintained to meet financial goals and objectives
  • Maintains a targeted understanding of Cyber market and possesses the ability to establish customer needs, buying cycles, and creating strong relationships to effectively drive sales and repeat business
  • Develops cybersecurity business through multiple marketing and sales techniques including but not limited to in person meetings and partnering with vendors
  • Ability to create a strategic plan with the customer's executive staff to add value to the customer business and develop a sales plan to meet the customer's and Presidio's strategic need. Review all current projects to include invoicing, project milestones, and performance to ensure we are maximizing our sales efforts and meeting quarterly performance objectives
  • Creates and maintains executive client relationships within the customer base to include meetings with manufacturers, customers, and vendors to continue and enhance the Presidio cybersecurity business and make us the partner of choice


    Leadership & Development



    • Creates sales strategy, sets goals, and drives key metrics to manage the cybersecurity business
    • Conducts regular reviews with the SPL team to provide mentorship and guidance to optimize their performance
    • Create and drive an enablement strategy for SPL team to ensure they have the appropriate skills to maintain thought leadership and can conduct meaningful customer engagements around cybersecurity opportunities
    • Mentors and motivates SPL team members to ensure satisfactory performance
    • Ensures training and development on reporting and metrics management, internal systems, and processes to enhance the accuracy of sales forecasts and processes
    • Continuously drives recruiting efforts and leads interviewing efforts to ensure a continuous pool of candidates and to find and select the most qualified sales candidates
    • Manages and educates team on account mapping, marketing, planning, and execution to further enhance go to market strategies
    • Reviews and completes annual performance appraisals for direct reports in accordance with policy and procedures


    Strategic Planning & Presentation



    • Provides accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts and manages individual and team pipelines at all stages to ensure we are meeting goals and objectives
    • Conducts monthly reviews with the executive team on key metrics and financial performance of the cybersecurity business
    • Understands cyber security market trends and trains internal and external partners on business opportunities
    • Conducts weekly sales commitment calls on both regional and corporate levels to ensure effective strategies are being deployed
    • Reviews company, territory, regional and individual progress updates with team members


    Education and Experience:



    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
    • 15+ years sales experience with 7+ years in a Sales Leadership role with proven track record of exceeding quota and managing large teams
    • Experience leading a cybersecurity sales organization
