JOB SUMMARY

This position plays a key role in supporting comprehensive early childhood curriculum initiatives to improve educational opportunities for children. Works to create innovative initiatives and policies for continuous improvement and accountability for in ECP. Applies professional principles and judgment, within the overall direction established by senior management. Supports Instructional Coaches through mentorship, reflection, feedback, and onboarding. Facilitates training for adult learners based on current school or agency-level needs. Sets precedent within limits and/or administers operating rules and procedures under management guidance. Performs immediate troubleshooting or analysis; uses judgment to select from multiple known alternatives.

Frequent interaction to provide basic information and/or occasional interaction requiring detailed procedural explanations or technical responses.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS


  • Supports the development, onboarding, and implementation of incoming Instructional Coaches.
  • Monitor and support the implementation of curriculum to ensure that classroom environments are appropriate and include all early childhood content areas.
  • Identify innovative design solutions with best practices and resources for ECP initiatives.
  • Provide guidance to Instructional Coaches through onboarding, meta-coaching, reflection, and feedback, which includes Implementation Guides, coaching models and expectations, alignment, transitions, data analysis, Professional Learning Communities, etc.
  • Support the development, training, and implementation of all Early Learning initiatives from 0-5 for Teacher and Coach effectiveness.
  • Facilitate training relevant to current school or agency-level needs as identified through data.
  • Support schools through reaccreditation with NAEYC and ongoing annual reports.
  • Collaborate with other departments within CAP Tulsa to support the growth of Instructional Coaches and Teachers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

  • Intermediate MS Office and Excel skills
  • Advanced organizational skills, efficiency skills, and excellent attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to completing assignments on a timely basis

Required Education/Experience


  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or education based related degree
  • 3 years of related work experience



Essential Physical & Mental Requirements
Employee is subject to standing, stooping, walking, lifting, and carrying objects throughout daily job performance. Work is a normal office environment. Must be able to lift and carry up to twenty (20) pounds. Will be required to travel in Tulsa County. Work requires moderate attention to detail and deadlines between 20% and 50% of the time. Exposure to all weather conditions and regular traffic hazards. Driving is required regularly.
