JOB SUMMARY

A Compensation Analyst for Cresco plays a pivotal role in designing, analyzing, and administering compensation programs to ensure competitive pay rates, equity among employees, and compliance. The ideal candidate for this position will have a keen understanding of compensation theory, labor market trends, and regulatory compliance. The Compensation Analyst will work closely with HR and management teams to ensure that pay practices are transparent, equitable, and support the organization's efforts to attract, retain, and motivate top talent in this dynamic and rapidly changing industry.

CORE JOB DUTIES



  • Support the Director of Total Rewards on a variety of projects including program design, analysis, budgeting, & implementation of new programs.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business stakeholders on compensation matters to support business goals.
  • Work closely with our talent acquisition team in supporting our recruiting efforts, including guidance and support on offers.
  • Perform research and analysis on market competitiveness and compliance with legal regulations on pay.
  • Assist in job evaluations to provide recommendations on FLSA status, internal equity, and market alignment.
  • Manage the compensation survey submission process
  • Administer the company annual compensation processes including, but not limited, to bonus and merit cycles.
  • Participate in ad-hoc compensation surveys and provide insights into the survey findings to key stakeholders.
  • Manage salary structure creation and maintenance.
  • Serve as the analytical point of contact for programs such as compensation reviews, market analysis, and special projects.
  • Work closely with the HR technology team to support the integrity of our compensation plans and data.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS



  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills; pivot tables, and complex functions.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • In-depth understanding of regulations and requirements under FLSA, multi-state pay equity laws, and other areas of compensation compliance.
  • Experience supporting compensation systems and reporting tools.
  • Ability to communicate uncomplex and complex financial related information to a wide audience.
  • Experience with an HRIS system (ADP, Ultimate Software, Ceridian, Workday)
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in HR and compensation
  • The ideal candidate will be well organized, and be nimble to work in a faced paced, changing environment. Confident to work independently with tight deadlines, as well as being a strong collaborator.
