SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Navigation GPS Logistics Analyst to manage inventory of GPNTS, NAVSSI, and NTSS Government Furnished Property (GFP) which includes receiving assets upon arrival, installing barcodes, packaging assets for shipments, acquiring shipping/procurement quotes, periodically perform GFP inventory inspections, develop and submit monthly inventory tracking reports.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Harvest components from equipment racks using job orders for documenting and tracking Government Furnished Property (GFP).
- Perform logistics activities related to the physical delivery of enterprise wide logistics support that includes, but is not limited to supply, maintenance, and facilities management.
- Maintain hard copy and electronic property record files and production status database records.
- Support property physical inventory audits.
- Research various databases to establish material retrieval locations, material sources, and disposition.
- Support federal stock system research programs used to establish manufacturer, part number, national stock number, etc.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Four (4)+ years of experience in:
- Logistical tracking
- Reporting
- Record keeping
- Warehousing
- Material transfer
- Ordering
- Issuance
- Disposition of government and/or commercial property involving electronic/electrical equipment
* Two (2)+ years of warehouse experience to include:
o Performing inventory
o Staging
o Packing
o Storage
o Shipping of electronic equipment and related material
o Operating motor vehicles and material handling equipment
o Utilizing a computer-based inventory and bar coding system for entry, identification and tracking of material
* Repair parts petty officer with some experience as work center supervisor is preferred.
* Knowledge of MS Office Word, Excel, and Access.
