Seneca Global Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Engineer to support the Test Enterprise Network Modernization (TENM) upgrade and modernization for our customer in Orlando, FL. The senior engineer will support TENM abilityto provide an enterprise environment for commonality, interchangeability and interoperability in order to standardize architecture, configuration, hardware, software, training and network management tools across Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) test centers.This position will provide support for engineering activities in support of the programs enterprise solutions to replace, improve, protect, and better manage test network equipment and position ranges for future modernization.The ideal candidate for this role must be comfortable working in a transparent, collaborative team environment and possess outstanding communication, leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Serving as the Subject Matter Expert for the Test Enterprise Network Modernization (TENM).
  • Responsible for assessing systems and processes, determining problems.
  • Providing solutions to issues, designing systems, upgrading systems, and brainstorming possible improvements for the systems and processes.
  • Coordinating with representatives from the customer (Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC)) and user (Army Test Centers and Operational Test Command),
  • Identify and resolve design issues impacting product performance, user experience, and business needs and priorities.
  • Support assessing systems and processes, determining problems, providing solutions to issues, designing systems, upgrading systems, and brainstorming possible improvements for the systems and processes.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving design issues impacting product performance, user experience, and business needs and priorities.
  • Employ engineering principles to foresee technical and schedule risks and to implement appropriate mitigation approaches that minimize risk while maximizing value.
  • Drive and directly contribute to Systems Engineering requirements management in line with the internal quality procedures and external regulatory standards.
  • Participate in creating control features to ensure systems effectively meet the organizations quality standards, engage in quality control procedures, develop cost-efficient system for projects by performing cost-benefit analysis when needed, maximizing organizations efficiency.
  • Attend daily meetings and document minutes/actions/stats.
  • Assist with identifying and supporting external dependencies where needed.


Qualifications:



  • Clearance: Posses Active Top Secret (TS) or Active Secret with ability to attain Top Secret (TS)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience on designing and developing networks to include optimizing hybrid wired/wireless networks to maximize coverage area.
  • Experience with testing and evaluation network, equipment and software; ATEC test networks a plus.
  • Must be able to write clear, concise, non-ambiguous, non-conflicting, testable, and traceable requirements leading the requirement and refinement process by understanding client requests and engaging across all stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of testing procedures to plan for current and upcoming assessments.
  • Possess interpersonal skills as they will work across organizational departments.
  • Has demonstrated experience successfully collaborating with others in a dynamic, fast-paced, pressured environment.
  • Able to apply knowledge to technologies you don't have firsthand experience with, valued more than deep siloed experience with one product.
  • Experience in the design and development of 5G Wireless Networks
