We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Technology Leader to lead the global customer technology team bringing ASML's most advanced products to cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing fabs. In this role you lead a team of account specialists, working closely with the central product groups at ASML to introduce the very latest lithography and metrology products to customer's Technology Development group. You will need to develop a deep understanding of your customer's needs and requirements and use this knowledge to influence the product roadmap/node configuration, evaluation and offerings of ASML.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Roadmap alignment with customer including total node cost incorporating the full breadth of ASML product offerings.

  • Develop and execute product introduction strategies with the central teams and secure agreement on product specifications and commercial terms.

  • Providing feedback to product groups on specific customer requirements.

  • Developing customer-specific node (N+1, N+2) configurations, aligned with customer and support insertion of new technology for evaluation.

  • Aligning N+1 / N+2 product specifications for commercial contract inclusion.

  • Developing and agreeing evaluation program/plan; SOW creation with central product groups.

  • Providing support for evaluation program execution and tool qualification.

  • Securing support for node transition initiatives from internal applications organization and customer alike.

Responsible for:

  • Securing customer R&D budget for N+1 / N+2 activities (secure evaluation PO for new process equipment and application software / services).

  • Represent ASML at executive level technology meetings and steer skilled application engineering teams to deliver on mutually agreed targets and objectives.

  • Winning customer approval for new technology insertion in support of customer's device and process roadmap.

  • Agree and drive business targets with the central organizations, track progress and execute agreed actions to deliver on agreed targets.

  • Consolidating objectives and requirements for customer R&D function for incorporation into ASML roadmap and alignment with customer in semi-annual technology roadmap meeting.

  • Responsible for building relationships to customer R&D organization.

  • Assessing strengths and weaknesses of ASML solution vs. that of competitive or customer internal solution and ensure ASML anticipates threat and reacts accordingly.

  • Lead teams of product specialists and account managers both as a direct manager, and indirectly utilizing engineering resources to achieve business objectives.

  • Hire and develop people, perform annual reviews and recommend compensation adjustments and awards.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Education and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science related field.

  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Science or business field preferred.

  • Strong technical background/knowledge/know-how required in the field of semiconductor processing and equipment.

  • Typically requires 10+ years directly related sales / marketing experience in the semiconductor industry and has been successful at management of other accounts.

  • Ability to influence other departments to support customers NPI adoption.

  • Communication & people management skills.

  • Has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the unique cultural issues that must be taken into account to successfully do business in various international markets.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to present concepts and influence others at all levels.

  • Excellent negotiation and interaction and customer relationship management skills.

  • Ability to analyze and draw conclusions from data or report information.

  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively to anticipate issues and solve or remove problems and obstacles to close business.

  • Has effective teamwork and team development skills.

  • A strategic thinker with the focus and drive to see results delivered.
