At Moldtronics, we provide molding, machining, design, mold building, and manufacturing services, for the aviation, defense, and commercial industries. The molding department at Moldtronics in Downers Grove, is hiring an injection molding technician to join the team. Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience molding, processing, troubleshooting experience, start-ups, and set-ups. What will you do? Set-up injection molds and the auxiliary equipment required. Process all types of resins including many engineering grade resins. Troubleshoot molding processes, cycles, and equipment. Handling and signing out material. Fill hoppers / dryers. Separate runners. Accurately complete necessary paperwork. Work closely with the team (operators, quality department, and management). Keep molding machines / equipment / area clean and organized. Perform other duties as assigned. Maintain safe work area in neat and orderly manner. What are we looking for? Positive attitude Processing and troubleshooting of processes ability. Experience with engineering grade resins (PPSU/ PEEK/PEI/ Etc.) is a big plus. Strong mechanical, analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to pay close attention to detail. Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines. Must be able to regularly stand for long periods of time throughout the shift with regular walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting of up to 55Lbs. Must be at least 18 years of age. Fluently speak and read English. Must have reliable transportation & valid driver's license.
