Position Summary The Department ASA II (Administrative Support Assistant II) works under the general supervision of the Department Chair and is responsible for providing general reception and office and administrative support to students, faculty, and staff in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and, the Maryjane Rees Center's Clinics, Audiology Clinic (Folsom Hall 1st Floor) and the Speech and Language Clinic (Folsom Hall 2nd Floor). Primary duties include but are not limited to: preparing and composing correspondence and reports, creating and maintaining files and recordkeeping systems, arranging meetings and events, data entry, managing social media, and managing purchasing of supplies. The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders continues this commitment by providing speech-language pathology and audiology services to our community through our on-campus clinic, the Maryjane Rees Language, Speech, and Hearing Center. Minimum Qualifications Entry to this classification requires fundamental written and oral communication skills, including a sound foundation in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation; an ability to understand standard office procedures; an ability to operate standard office equipment; an ability to learn office technology systems; an ability to perform basic mathematical calculations; and typing and keyboard skills. These entry qualifications would normally be obtained through completion of a high school program or its equivalent and some experience in an office environment. Required Qualifications Experience:
