The day-to-day

We are seeking our next Engineering Technician! They will assemble, integrate, test, and fix a variety of commercial and military antenna products. You will be reading mechanical and electronic drawings, schematics, and test procedures. You will configure RF test setups and perform measurements such as axial ratio, isolation, phase noise, phase matching, polarization, RF power handling, and return loss just to name a few. Documenting design changes and improvements throughout the process. What you'll need

  • 3+ years relevant work experience performing responsibilities of the role described above
  • Experience testing and resolving issues with electronic products
  • Ability to read schematics and understand electronic circuits
  • Experience with RF test, measurement, and calibration techniques
  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment
  • Ability to follow written test procedures and update procedures when needed.
  • Ability to solder following schematics
  • Must have mechanical & electronic assembly skills using hand tools while following schematics and drawings
  • Basic computer skills including good skills with Microsoft Office
  • Good communication and team skills
  • Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or related technical subject area or equivalent work experience.
  • US government position. US citizenship required.
  • Up to 10 % travel.

What will help you on the job

  • Ability to work other shifts, if needed
  • Experience working in a development engineering and manufacturing environment.
  • Experience testing and repairing RF amplifiers, LNAs, and up/down converters
  • Self-directed, but good working in a team environment

Salary range

$25.48 - $42.74 / hourly
