Job Summary

Provides synchronous and asynchronous online instruction to adults to successfully acquire English language comprehension, fluency, and proficiency needed to transition to college or career pathways.

Essential Functions

60% - Instructs adults in ELAA classes; Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking, Civics, and Career Exploration
10% - Provides support to students engaging in Learning Management Systems
10% - Engages in student assessment and engages in regular review of student progress data
10% - Maintains accurate student records, required forms and documents, attendance hours, and other documents as required by the program
10% - Engages in job-embedded professional learning

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Education or related degree
2. Experience teaching in one or more of the following areas: Language Arts, Reading, English, ESL
3. Must possess or have the ability to obtain an Arizona Adult Education Certification within 60 days of hire
