What you'll be doing:

Lead the installation and maintenance of server technologies and components for all environments and apply system updates, patches and configuration changes. Monitor server environments and lead the process to analyze logs, troubleshoot, track, resolve, document, and report progress and resolution of problems in the server environments. Lead support responding to outages and provide for backup, availability and disaster recovery of server environments. Lead IT incident/problem management, change management, disaster recovery, security, asset management and release management processes. Coach and mentor less experienced staff.



On any given day, you'll:

    Lead the installation and maintenance of server components.
  • Lead the process to troubleshoot, track, resolve, and report progress and resolution of problems in the server environment.
  • Lead incident/problem management, change management, disaster recovery, security, IT asset management, and release management processes.
  • Maintain proof of concept, development, test, and production environments.
  • Protect IT/information/data content and property from theft, corruption, or unknown failure.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced staff.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the analysis of system logs and identify potential issues with server systems.
  • Lead the installation of new server technologies into existing data center environments.
  • Perform server backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Lead operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
  • Lead the installation and configurement of new hardware and software for the server.
  • Respond to service outages and other operationsrelated problems.
  • Support server infrastructure availability.
  • Coach and mentor less experienced staff.


Here's what we expect

Prior Experience

  • Mentoring and Leadership: Proficient in guiding and leading teams through technical troubleshooting and critical thinking to pinpoint root causes.
  • Operational Process Development: Skilled at creating and implementing efficient operational processes and procedures.
  • VMware and ESX Expertise: Possesses advanced knowledge in VMware and ESX virtualization technologies.
  • O365 Mastery: Demonstrates an expert-level understanding of Microsoft Office 365 administration and support.
  • Windows Server Administration: Extensive background in managing Windows Server environments. (Operating Systems 2016, 2019 and 2022)
  • Disaster Recovery and Replication: Has extensive expertise in administering and managing complex disaster recovery sites and backup solutions.
  • 6+ years' experience as a server administrator.
  • Related insurance industry experience preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.

Necessary Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to mentor and lead the team in technical troubleshooting
  • Expert Level knowledge of VMware and ESX
  • Expert Level knowledge of O365
  • Expert Level knowledge of Windows Server Administrator
  • Expert Level knowledge of AD/OU/GPO Administration

Exact compensation will vary based on consideration of a variety of factors including education, skills, experience, and location.



Minimum Compensation

USD $80,800.00/Yr.


Maximum Compensation

USD $121,100.00/Yr.
