As a Program Coordinator, you will demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, facilitation and team building skills to work effectively with customers and other members of the healthcare team to provide direction for clinical practice. To help achieve our mission, you will coordinate the program to ensure maximum effectiveness while managing and developing service line teams. Your ability to identify trends applicable to the target population, to better coordinate programs, establish priorities and improve services, is of vital importance. Developing, training, organizing, scheduling, implementing, supervising and/or evaluating the program or programs is required. Maintaining knowledge of specific field and identifying national trends as they apply to the population served, to coordinate programs and establish service priorities, is essential. Job Responsibilities:
- Provides instruction based on specified program curriculum 90 percent of the time.
- Attends program staff meetings on a regular basis. Obtains necessary supplies, equipment, and forms prior to class.
- Returns supplies and evaluations to program coordinator or manager upon completion of class.
- Understands the basic learning requirements of the grade school, adolescent and/or adult learner.
- Demonstrates good instructional, communication and interpersonal skills 90 percent of the time.
- Properly utilizes educational materials and visual teaching aids to enhance program effectiveness 90 percent of the time.
- Maintains room and equipment in a safe manner. Reports any safety issue to program manager 100 percent of the time.
Qualifications: Experience:
- Two (2) years' experience in developing, implementing, and coordinating programs or projects or
- Associates degree and an additional 4 years of relevant experience or
- High School Diploma or GED and additional 5 years of relevant experience.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, health, education, social work, public administration or related field.
