Job Description

We are currently hiring a Associate Brand Manager, Truly in Boston, MA.

*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.

In 6 short years, Truly Hard Seltzer has gone from an idea to one of the top 10 brands in all of beer. We're looking for an Associate Brand Manager to help manage our amazing portfolio of spirit-based products.

The Associate Brand Manager, Truly is a natural leader. The Associate Brand Manager will report into the Sr. Brand Manager and assist with Truly's spirit-based product innovation initiatives, including analyzing insights, data and trends, managing the product commercialization process, developing sales materials and communications, activating marketing support plans and retail programming, managing P&L/budget, and monitoring performance after product launches.

What You'll Brew:



  • Manage key pillars of Truly's spirit-based innovation portfolio and pipeline
  • Lead and execute the development of innovation product/packaging line extensions to help the brand reach new consumers.
  • Lead competitive intelligence tracking and sourcing to ensure we continue to deliver the best tasting, most innovative products to drinkers
  • Support the Sr. BM in the development and launch of major innovation initiatives
  • Lead and execute marketing and retail programming for innovation launches that engages shoppers and provides compelling retailer traction to support distribution and generate display activity and on-premise activation
  • Help support the creation of annual strategic and operating plans
  • Analysis, tracking, generation of data and reports that lead to insights that drive action plans
  • Manage internal cross functional and creative teams with strong briefing that drives cohesive communication for packaging, point of sale, advertising content and digital programming
  • Project manage cross functional teams in the delivery of product launches and associated support tactics
  • Monitor performance of new product launches via strategic key performance indicators and make recommendations on action items resulting from in market performance as needed.
  • Manage budget for programming and all related PO and AP tracking to stay within budget
  • Generate selling materials that provide the sales organization ample, yet simple and compelling rationale for customers to support brand initiatives
  • Support the brand at events, promotional activities, sales meetings as needed


What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years experience n a results-oriented consumer product marketing role at a marketing driven organization
  • Proven experience in project planning and management, budgeting and financial analysis, and product positioning
  • Experience in developing consumer marketing communications
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, add value and provide action-oriented recommendations in-line with business objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to gather consumer insights through quantitative and qualitative market research and translate into creative marketing initiatives


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Graduate Degree - MBA, Marketing
  • Other business-discipline work experiences a benefit (Insights, Business Analysis, Finance, Sales, etc.)
  • Beverage industry or traditional CPG experience is preferred
