We are seeking a dependable Assembler on Weekend shift (Friday/Saturday/Sunday-12 hours). Parker Hannifin offers competitive pay with the starting rate for this position currently at $18.01 per hour plus a shift premium. Essential Functions: Prepares and assembles Helac products and components by performing the following duties. Working in the fast-paced PTNG team, you will prepare, assemble and test products and components.
- Uses a variety of hand tools and basic production equipment to prepare components for assembly.
- Assembles repetitive products by accurately reading and interpreting assembly drawings.
- Does all phases of assembly including timing.
- Gives functional tests to finished assemblies.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Actively participates in High Performance Teams and company-sponsored training.
- Perform the required duties in accordance safety guidelines and lean principles by complying with all safety procedures and all company policies.
- Maintains work areas by cleaning and organizing the space and equipment
- Actively participates in company-sponsored training programs
- Completes additional duties and projects as assigned. Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Basic computer skills required
- Basic math skills required
- Basic understanding of gauging / measuring devices required
- Basic blueprint understanding required
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions to complete tasks that may be repetitive
- Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player Physical Demands/Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to hear and speak. The employee must regularly stand, walk, sit and use hands to grasp and handle. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 40 lbs. The employee will regularly bend, stoop, and stretch handling parts/objects in various situations. Specific vision requirements include close vision, ability to focus, and depth perception. This position may be exposed to oils, dirt, fumes and moving equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
