Shipping & Receiving Support Staff

Job Description:

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support shipments and deliveries for entire campus as required.
• Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments. Reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper; receive and process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit; maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies as needed.
• Position may require extensive outside work.
• Comply with all DOT and IATA regulations. Comply with Department of Homeland Security requirements.
• Have experience with computer systems to include Microsoft Office products, i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel
• Will be required to learn, understand and perform the duties of the mail center
• Other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements for Shipping & Receiving Support Staff

• Minimum three years' relevant experience
• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• Must be able to lift up to 50lb containers safely and efficiently.  Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift.
• Candidates should have ability to provide strong customer service while maintaining confidentiality. Candidates must have experience working on multiple computer programs (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
