Security Administrator, Mid

Key Role:

Serve as a member of a small team managing all aspects of personnel security clearance processing. Work closely with clients to obtain security clearance approvals, conduct briefings and debriefings, analyze and estimate clearance processing timelines and eligibility, maintain clearance records, document reportable information, and conduct preemployment security clearance verifications. Maintain liaison with outside agencies and keep upper management informed of all results. Serve as an alternate contractor program security officer to assist with implementing standard security procedures and managing access control.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Scattered Castles and Defense Information Security Systems
  • Experience presenting reports and briefings to various levels of staff
  • Knowledge of ICD 704 personnel security standards and security executive agent directives
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Associate's degree and 3+ years of experience with personnel security processes and procedures, Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with personnel security processes and procedures, or 5+ years of experience with personnel security processes and procedures in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with security investigations and pre-screening
  • Knowledge of the security requirements for various intelligence community agencies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
