Systems Administrator, Mid

We're looking for a systems administrator who is miss-minded, has great attention to detail, and has a background supporting the deployment of critical IT systems to help us sustain critical operations in the law enforcement community.

As a systems administrator on our project, you'll manage inventory, build, maintain, and deploy IT assets in support of law enforcement operations, update and patch systems, and help steer the evolution of our technologies. You'll help customers overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. Your experience and communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and communicate their meaning. This is an opportunity to gain experience in law enforcement operations using highly dispersed computing systems. We focus on growing as a team, so we'll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together. You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in working with a large IT-based team or project

  • Experience with computer set up and configuration

  • Experience with IT system troubleshooting or problem-solving

  • Experience with Windows and Linux-based administration

  • Experience with inventory management and kit deployments

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with network design and enterprise security

  • Experience with network lab operations

  • Possession of excellent time management and analytical skills

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Bachelor's degree

  • CompTIA A+ certification

  • CompTIA Network+ certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
