Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. Qualifications for Employment

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (OR) Business Administration or related field (OR) Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field and three years of recent administrative experience in a computerized environment. Good working knowledge of computer applications, Banner software experience and program planning preferred; ability to collect and analyze data; ability to communicate orally or through written word.
Nature and Scope of Duties:
The Assistant Coordinator for Community and Workforce Development, reports to the Director of Community & Workforce Development and/or their designee and performs the following duties:
1. Review vendor invoices, vendor statements and college purchase orders.
2. Processes paperwork for hiring of new faculty, payroll authorizations and/or invoices.
3. Prepares various reports including but not limited to basic financial statements and progress reports.
4. Maintains employee budget and expense codes and processes expenses.
5. Analyzes basic general ledger activity and follow up on any discrepancies.
6. Assists in coordinating credit-free courses including scheduling of courses, faculty and facilities. Assists with building credit-free master schedule.
7. Works closely with Financial Aid Office to develop procedures for credit-free students to use TAP and PEL and other financial opportunities for funding credit-free programs.
8. Reviews monthly program, enrollment and other departmental account balances.
9. Assists with reconciliation of account funds, including grants and apprenticeships as well as the scanning and indexing of files, filing and maintaining order of department files.
10. Prepares all necessary documents for audit of state aid able courses.
11. Assists with student registration process for credit-free courses including enrollment reports, registration deposits, certificates of residence, third party payments and refunds.
12. Assists in coordinating programs for special populations including but not limited to Kids on Campus, Motorcycle and Global Classroom initiatives.
13. Performs other related duties as assigned.

The salary range for this position is $40,000-$41,500.00.
