Description
The Wediko NY Attendance Youth Mentor will work in one elementary school site in East Harlem, focusing on supporting students who are struggling academically, behaviorally, and/or who have a history of poor attendance. NY Attendance Youth Mentor provides supportive mentoring services, including attendance outreach and support in partnership with the school staff to support students in reaching their academic and social emotional goals. This position is a temporary part-time position, April - June 2023, 20-25 hours a week, with the potential of continuing into the next school year. $18-$22 an hour, based on experience.
