About the team:
An integral part of NM's software delivery ecosystem, Engineering Shared Services (ESS) helps teams accelerate delivery by solving problems that matter through innovative shared technology solutions. They keep NM's delivery running smoothly and ensure our teams are best positioned to do their jobs.

The Test Data as a Service team in the ESS space provides reliable, consistent, and secure test data solutions to support application teams.

We deliver automated and self-service test data searching solutions for enhanced test coverage, quality, and test data portability across non-production environments.

About the role:
As a Software Engineer on the Test Data as a Service team, design, develop and test program units; work on new systems development and enhancement/maintenance of existing systems. Participates in implementations of new systems or modifications to existing systems to meet Information Systems and client business requirements. Prepare and update documentation as appropriate.

Required Technology Skills and Experiences:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with hands on software engineering
  • JavaScript, NodeJS, Microservices, API, React, AngularJS
  • Critical thinking and Problem-solving skills
  • Hands on experience on Databases (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server)
  • Application Development (Restful Services)
  • Unit Testing framework (JUnit, XUnit, Jasmine, Mocha, Selenium)
  • Worked in an Agile team setting
  • Ability to apply engineering standard methodologies in order to analyze and develop software solutions.
  • Experience developing software using established development and continuous integration practices.

Good to Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Mainframe Experience
  • Familiarity with public cloud and associated technologies (AWS, Azure, Containerization)
  • Familiar with GraphQL
  • Familiarity using monitoring and automation processes
  • Familiar with Test Data Management concepts and products

Compensation Range:

Pay Range - Start:

$80,920.00

Pay Range - End:

$115,600.00
