21-Feb-2023 Senior Technical Solutions Engineer US Remote 8530BR Position Responsibilities Position Responsibilities: Collaborate with and manage Solution Engineering demonstration software environment Plan, Support and Manage Development, QC and Production Environments Serving as a key strategic and technical advisor for opportunities, making recommendation to sales teams based on customer requirements and solution capabilities Presenting solution technical capabilities and quality of service of Deltek's SaaS solutions to both technical and non-technical prospects and existing clients. Proactively monitor, and maintain business application servers and databases in accordance with best practices and defined standards and protocols. Install and maintain software products, including patch application and upgrade to our environments Coordinate administrative and technical efforts to complete a given project Interact with senior level management to provide project or task status updates Interface with third party software vendors to escalate and resolve software problems Design, implement, and assess business applications' technical needs Qualifications Bachelor Degree or Equivalent Experience Required 5+ years working in an IT environment Consulted with senior level management Experience leading complex to highly complex projects/tasks Experience providing technical expertise and directions to others Experience managing MS SQL Server database environments Experience managing MS Windows Server environments Prefer experience with Deltek solutions Knowledge of VMWare and virtualization of server environments Knowledge of networking and security Customer management skills including strong communication (oral and written) skills Experience working with variety of roles / levels from developers to senior managers to customers Other Competencies: Deltek is a fast-paced environment; the ability to multitask on different projects concurrently is critical Experience in coordinating multiple priorities, managing conflicts where needed A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected Maintain a positive environment and high performance standards Flexibility to take on tasks outside of one's own area and to assist team members is a key success factor Strong analytical and problem solving skills is a must including investigating and resolving tasks independently Travel Requirements 30% Company Summary As the leading global provider of enterprise software and information solutions for project-based businesses, Deltek helps organizations of all sizes maximize productivity and revenue.
