What we're looking for

You are a Software Quality Engineer with the responsibility of designing, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex software applications. You will also work with a group of forward-thinking software engineers, architects and management to design and implement the next generation of infrastructure, tools, frameworks and services to support future Citrix product development. Position Overview

Citrix is seeking a talented, highly motivated, and collaborative Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) to work on innovative technologies within the Citrix Cloud Engineering team.

Role Responsibilities




  • Interface with Product Managers, Architects and Engineers to grasp and influence product requirements for development of new features and cloud services.



  • Create and maintain agile test planning & execution throughout SDLC while accounting for core coverage areas such as automation, functional, performance, stress and scalability testing.



  • Perform exploratory testing while focusing on various end user experiences and customer personas.



  • Research and implement industry best practices in agile methodologies to support Continuous Integration development models.



  • Defect management: Bug reporting, validation and regression testing while ensuring product integration loopbacks.



  • Interfacing with Field/Sales Readiness teams to ensure customer success by providing technical guidance & consultancy on product deployment/adoption scenarios



  • Troubleshoot and diagnose escalations from the field alongside Technical Support teams for quick turnaround on problem resolution.



  • Deliver product best practices, KB recommendations, tutorials, videos, 'How do I' articles and blogs to facilitate customer adoption of our products.




Basic Qualifications




  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.



  • 5+ years of hands on experience with related technologies.



  • Solid understanding of Windows Systems administration and MS Active Directory.



  • Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud-computing platforms e.g. Azure, AWS.



  • Solid understanding of OS & Networking advanced concepts.



  • Knowledge & experience of Software Development Lifecycle.




Preferred Qualifications




  • Knowledge of CI/CD deployment models.



  • Knowledge and experience of Web technologies (JSON, REST).
